Burgon and Ball RHS professional bypass secateurs

These professional bypass secateurs are part of Burgon and Ball's RHS-endorsed range. High specification pruners, they provide excellent all-round cutting for the demanding gardener.

The bypass cutting action delivers a clean and healthy cut for general pruning. A precision-ground, high-carbon steel blade cuts growth up to 2.5cm in diameter.

The secateur blade is heat treated to harden it, giving excellent edge retention. A wire cutting notch avoids damaging the blade if cutting wire and a sap groove directs sap away from the cutting edge. The anvil is precision-ground, ensuring a precise cut that reduces risk of infection.

These Burgon and Ball secateurs are suitable for medium to large hands. They come with a blade tensioning tool, allowing you to adjust the pressure needed to close the secateurs. Lightweight alloy handles make them easy to work with and rubber cushioning on the handles prevents jarring.
